So after a fiercely fought semi-final tie at Anfield, Liverpool are through to their 2nd champs league final in 3 years under Rafa Benitez. It was a great game with the team defending well as a unit and not allowing Dogba any time or space with the ball. My heart was racing so fast at some points during the match but the result at the end was so sweet. Cheers to Liverpool's 12th men for creating an electrifying performace which I feel affected the chelski team although mourinho begs to differ. Cheers also to Pepe Reina for a MOTM performance in my opinion. It pisses me off to read mourinho say that ' the better team lost'. Liverpool were definitely the better team over both legs and were denied a rightful goal by the linesman during the first half of ET.

For now, lets celebrate this great victory and pray that Big Ears is once again coming back to Anfield- where she rightfully belongs.

da mission: watch saw 3

da plan: Buy tickets to a movie slightly earlier then sneak into the saw 3 cinema later.

Saw 3 wasn't that bad... but i think the standard of the franchise is dropping and I seriously don't see how is it that they have in plan up to saw 6. Unlike the previous 2 saw movies which impressed with their twist, there wasn't really much of a twist in saw 3. As such they probably thought they could impress us with more gore. Well i guess the question on every ones mind is that if Amanda and jigsaw died, then who will be in saw 4. Im not sure if I will be as eager to catch saw 4 as i was to catch saw 3, but i still cant wait for saw 4 to come out, as it would probably mean that im free.

I also don't understand why is it that the government feels that it is ok for males aged 16 1/2 years old to carry guns. but not ok for them to watch gory movies like saw 3. Does this mean that if a war breaks out tomorrow, this below 21 years of age soldiers will only be sent to fight in areas where the gore is below r21 rating. How can we expect the soldiers to handle the gore of war if we feel that they cant handle the gore in a movie.

yay! finally got my camp pass a few days ago. This means i will no longer need to go through the hassle of changing my 11b at the pass office. I also noticed that SAF angmoh cannot make it from the pass:

Well after the 7 of us reported yesterday, we were split up again. Wudao and wx were the 2 lucky fucks who got the 1week on 2week off posting. The remaining 5 of us were separated into 4 details. I went to alpla, sameul bravo, alfred charlie and sebast and eugene delta.

I was damn suay as the night watch was alpha, so i had to come back at night to report. I must say that im quite thankful to be in alpha although im alone, as the people are all very friendly. The watch ic introduced me to the place. She appeared quite fierce at first, but after that i found her very motherly. I sure hope i dun get fucked by her. She assigned me to cf, and he will be my shifu and teach me his console. I must say i dun really like that console as its quite isolated from the rest and is confirm the most busy console. well tough luck, lets just hope i master it fast and i can pass it on to someone who comes after me quickly.

was watching this show called mom at sixteen earlier on hallmark. It was a dumb show, as most hallmark shows are. However, what made me watch this show from start to end was cause the main actress was damn pretty. Today was POC. This marks the end for our JTQT NCSO C2 (CL1) mcv 1/06 class. The last 2 days were spent doing our clearance and playing no holds barred 2 vs 2 games of soccer in class. As compared to BMT, where I was definitely happy to move on, its a different case here. On one hand, Im happy to leave IMOS as this brings me nearer to my next destination and closer to my ORD date. On the other hand, it sure is sad to leave behind all the happy memories that i have here, which is a lot.

I remember the first day we reported to IMOS in our ugly no.4. We were all curious what was in stored for us and how we ended up being in the navy. Although I had my doubts about IMOS then, I must say that looking back now I do not regret coming to the navy.

Pre-JRC days was a blast with all the bitching sessions led by mr. stress. The friends whom Im
gonna miss from this period particularly are kelvin, Wei Le, Lo Bitch, zhao qin , sk and ms. Kudos to Weile for taking the initiative to help us bond together. I still remember that Wei Le made us fold our blanket in a particular way which i still do to this day. This period was very slack as we had no EME and no rounds. It was like an adjustment period to navy where they test to see if you are able to slack well. The only bad thing about this period was the rst i had to attend every morning and evening.

Then came JRC days. JRC BRAVO 1/06. As compared to pre- jrc days were my bunk would always talk cock, there was less of that here, probably cause this was the psp period. I made many new friends during this period and what i learnt in particular was that we should not judge by appearance. This was also a good opportunity for me to mix around with people from other educational backgrounds and to understand them better. Im not going to name all the people Im
going to miss in this period as that would probably be the whole class, save for shitmon and nicholas santiago. However, the 2 I was saddest to leave behind during this period were my 2 bunk mates in pre- jrc, ms and sk. I sure hope the 3 of us can continue meeting up in future. All the best ms for the remaining of your ojt and for your 'A' levels. As for sk, thanks for teaching me the art of fart and hope u get your sharky posting.

Last but not least was the JTQT period. Im so glad i ws not detered by the 180 posting when i chose c2. We are probably the most lucky class, as none of us will be going down to ship save for 2 who will be doing 2 months ojt. This was also the most mentally taxing period at times when we had to cram for the tests, which were harder than what i expected from SAF tests. This was back to my pre-jrc days, as I was once again living with an all 'A' level bunch of people. There were some people who i did not think i would get along at first, but as time went on i understood them better and we part as friends. In particular im gonna miss sebast and ryan. At least sebast will be going 181 with me, but ryan is going to the best ship. I think i speak for the whole c2 when i say that ryan brightened up our lives with his humor and journal.

am currently watching SI on channel 5. So, first came hady, then jasmine, then paul, and they were all just lukewarm. Lastly came jonathan leong and it was ownage man. Went to chiong with some of the navy people on friday night. It was quite cock up at first, as wudao insisted that we went to zouk and we took quite some time navigating our way there. too bad we never learn topo. The good thing for us was that it was free entry to zouk as we gt there before 11. The bad thing was that it was quite empty and the music kinda sucked. Seeing that it was free entry and the night was still young, we decided not to wait for the party to get high but try our luck somewhere else. We took a cab to Desire and this was way worst. There were like 4-5 guys inside and 0 girls. We then walked to the nearby bumble bee. The outside of the club was like infested with ah neh and we were about to leave when this indian bouncer came and said," guys, i let u send your 2 best clubbers inside to check it out, if you dun like you can leave.". So, wudao and jerome went in and they came out saying that it was packed but almost everyone is ah neh.
Feeling damn demoralised jun ngee suggested that we go over to q bar or something to just chill for a while. i tried the singapore sling for the first time. It tasted a bit weird at first but got better as you drank more.
Well the night was not a waste, as after that we went over to dxo where there was ladies night. party was great. We partied till 4 before taking a cab to camp to book in for what should be our very last duty.

decided to catch kingdom of heaven with cl, cla and stan after their hockey practice. the show was ok la i guess, but i think troy was better. The show basically talks about the war between the christians and muslims in jerusalem during the 12th century, and which has not ended till this day. I was reading some articles on it on the net, and found that it had some similarities to the jihads muslim extremist are proclaiming in this age. The only difference i guess is that the word 'crusades' sounds a lot less harmless than 'jihad'.

eh i know my chinese very powerful la but does anyone know how i can stop my blogspot from appearing in chinese. really neh neh la I was pressing the button i thought read view blog 3 times before i realised it was publish post. pfffft. But then again cannot blame me la, i just back from my 2mths or is it 1mth hiatus where i was learning to milk a walrus and so very blur.

Kick ass dinner at a suck ass place

Went for dinner after school with cla, joosheng, lynn and dan at Ajisen Ramen. It took us a pewty long time to settle on the place as most of the other food outlets in the vicinity were shui xia bu tong ( darn my chinese is gd). For those folks out there who have noted the existence of my huumble blog, the reason I decided to return from my 2mths hiatus, where i was away milking walrus' ( i can't tame sharks la tsk) is due to me being preety peeved by the service there.

So, there we were, all ready to make our order when i began to feel some sewage problems and so rushed off to the john. Upon my return, I was surprised that no waiter had answered the call to have our order taken and so seeing a waiter nearby at another table walking away, I said excuse me and the bugger just walked off. neber mind if at first you fail, try try and try again. We decided to continue raising our hands in the air and it took another 2mins of acting like monkeys before we were noticed. oh before i forget, we were seated right at the front of the entrance and the reason for that, is because the waiter did not bother to check if there were other seats availiable inside and there were, but jusr waved us to the first seat at the entrace.

much later when we had finished our meals and wanted a refill of our drinks, we were again faced with the problem of attracting the attention of a waiter. We first tried the old method of raising our hands in the air and acting like monkeys, which failed. We then decided to call out to a young waiter who was walking past on the opposite side. Once again, im preety sure the bugger heard us but he decided to ignore it and walk off. As a result, we were still facing the problem of attracting the attention of a staff. It was not long before Dan came up with the ingenious idea of standing outside the restraurant acting like were waiting to be seated, so as to attract a waiter's attention. As such, joosheng and I t went out to the front and it was a matter of seconds before a waiter came to us.

when the bill came, we were preety peeved that we had to pay a 10% service charge at a restaurant whose service sucked. However, being magnamous people, we decided to tip them a total of 2 5cent coins, 1 10cent coin and 2 watson's vouchers for Maximum Growth Nourish Nail Colour.

Finally played soccer after a preety long time with the peeps again. The pj hockers came to play with us and we had a match against them, the result was very bad for us and we were getting owned in every aspect of the game. Well, just hope that we will be able to provide a better show for our fans next week during the second leg, when several of our injured players returned.

ok lets talk about ciggs now. There I was sitting on the air-con bus on my way to the game, when this mat appeared at a bustop. He was just finishing his cigg and so took a large puff before throwing it on the ground and boarding the bus. ok nebermind la i hear u say... abit of of smoke in the bus wun kill anyone right? The bugger had to sit right behind me and give out his frigging foul breath. knn friggin ruined my early morning bus ride.

Much later at the soccer court, there were a bunch of ngee ann poly guys who came to play with us. There was this particular one who was wearing an Argentina jersey and probably thought he was Diego Maradona and so had to live up to his namesake. He brought in a cigg into the game and planned to smoke as he played. He soon puffed enough and threw the cigg on the floor. 'Maradona's' friends then shouted at him to threw it outside the court, but he shouted back,' wahlou eh the cigg so small wun do any fuck to the ball la.' Well it sure as hell did not do any fuck to the ball but it probabay did a lot of fuck to him, as he was rooted to the ground during that game and hardly got a touch of the ball.

Now, there has been talk in recent weeks that the government is planning to ban the puffing of ciggs in several more places such as in pubs and hawker centres. BAN BAN BAN I say. Several smokers were interviewed by The Straits Times and they felt that the gahmen should not impose the restrictions as they were 'responsible' somkers and did not smoke when near the presence of other non smokers. Now, i do not give a flying fuck if the smokers want to ruin their own lungs, but if any smoker says that he/she has never smoked in the presence of a non-smoker, I say horseshit. Now, even if they are 'responsible' and do not smoke in the presence of non-smokers, what about the situation in the bus that I mentioned earlier?

then again its unlikey that my wish for the gahmen to ban the sale ciggs will be met, due to the high taxes that the gahmen earns from them. Im just hoping that they will impose more restrictions on places where smokers are allowed to puff.

an experience at the library

ok so i just went to the library to collect a book that i had reserved (Yes i do read). Waited damn long for somebody to serve me and then finally this indian woman came along. I handed over my reservation slip and then proceeded to hand over my very Easy-link card.
She took one look at my photo on the very Easy-link card and remaked,'' Who's this ah?".
"Oh, thats me.", I replied.
She then proceeded to eye my suspiciously and let out,"OH!".
She continued glancing at my photo and at me as she was completing the admin stuff.I have no idea why she was so amused by the photo so i decided to post the picture.....

Read in the papers yeterday of a certain robin hood by the name of Mr. kesavedas who was charged by the courts with stealing SG$170,000 from his company. What makes him stand out is the fact that he used sent the money back home to India for charity purposes such as donating the money for the setting up of ophanages, helping people clear their debts

Upon reading this 2 things crossed my mind:

The guy is some crazy apu neh neh who believes in karma and that in stealing from the rich for the poor he will go to 'paradise'. Im sorry to tell him but he will instead be incacerated for 20 months.
No chinese will ever do such a thing. Im not trying to be racist here, but it crossed my mind that it would be really odd if a chinese was the one who stole and gave it to charity. I mean ask around and see which race is perceived to be the most 'money-minded', the answer would very likely be the chinese. It has something to do with the chinese culture i believe of 'loving money'.

Anyway i think im preety much screwed for the coming common test, which is in lets see 1,2 oh 2 days. knn. really no mood to cram all the atmosphere crap into my brain. the only thing i can remember of what i learnt earlier is that the hadley cell ( a cell which aids in the transportation of wind) was discored in 1753. Found this very interesting because i was of the impression that men only understood the movement of air in the atmosphere much later.

kk so this the 2nd time im starting a blog... the last one had 1 post then i gt bored of it
Well just caught a short video clip http://takgiu.rantz.com after geting the link of mrbrown.com. Its abt 15mins long and it laments the state or rather lack of soccer fields in Singapore. Kudos to the guys who did the clip. Personally, I feel the sg governemt can really do much more abt the state of soccer in singapore. They can keep harping on the fact that Singaporeans are not 100% behind the S league, but look at the recent Tiger Cup, the fans were there behind the team. I feel what the government should do is not just keep saying that it has been supporting the S League and wat not.. but instead encourage more youngsters to play the game. And how do youngsters play when there r so many signs everywhere that tell them not to. When the team i play in in sec sch wanted a field to train, we had a hard time searching before decide to just use the school field although it was not very well maintained. But then again how many fields in Singapore are well maintained?

Now when i say the gahmen shld encourage the young ones to play soccer, i understand that there can be detractors like my very own principal. I admit and its widely known that most soccer players lack the smarts in class, but like that just give up and dun try is it? ok i forgot we are singaporeans. Seriously fuck man. Don't talk abt Goal 2010 or 2014, if we fail to cross this barrier that soccer has no future then might as well set Goal 0000.

The balls really in the governtment's court, theres only so much people like the filmakers can do. The maths preety simple, if you open up more fields for the lads to play and a soccer CCA in every school, chances of unearthing the next Quah Kim Song will be higher.
Till then lets just takgiu and hope that we will see more glory days regarding Singapore soccer.

On a lighter note, CL draw in about half an hour. Im hoping liverpool get drawn with either bayern, lyon or PSV. No dirty italians please.
